Key Responsibilities
As a truck driver working at PAL TRUCKING, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Load and unload goods
- Inspect the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Carry out emergency roadside repairs
- Complete pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
- Tarp cargo and ensure its safety and security
- Transport and handle dangerous goods
