Key Responsibilities
As a Cleaner at By The Bay Cottages, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- Dust furniture and clean interior surfaces
- Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- Make beds and change sheets
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests
- Stock linen closets and maintain adequate supplies
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Disinfect operating rooms and other designated areas where required
- Clean and disinfect elevators
- Handle lost and found items and report them according to company procedures
- Respond to guests’ requests for extra supplies and other items
- Provide basic information about facilities and available services
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene when required
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Mend clothing and linens when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping and general cleaning duties
- Shop for food and household supplies as required
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
- Clean changing rooms and showers
- Address customer complaints or concerns professionally
